Arabian Horse Skull

Whether you're making a diorama, crafting jewelry, constructing tools for your altar, or sculpting a horse (flesh optional,) you will without a doubt want one of these!

The upper and lower jaws are separate pieces, so you can articulate it however you like, or remove the jaw to create a hanging wall prop for a diorama. This would be perfect for a macabre custom model or sculpture, or as a prop, or whatever else you can think of!

These skulls are digitally hand-sculpted in zbrush using photo reference, the same way they'd be sculpted traditionally (not photo-scans) so you still get that artistic flair with realistic anatomy!

The models shown are representative of the product. I make sure every model is thoroughly cleaned before curing, and thoroughly cured before packaging, so you can rest assured you won't be handling anything toxic. Each piece is sold as-is out of the cure box, with no additional prepping beyond what’s done for the clean-up process, so they will need minor prep-work as with any resin!

I use a custom mix of resins to create both a durable and detailed model, to try and give the best of both worlds. Too many printing resins are more brittle than sculpey, and they don't need to be. I have dropped several of these prototypes from usual handling and storage distances, on carpet, vinyl, and concrete with no breaks, and absolutely chucked them at concrete with impressive results, so you can be sure this will withstand typical use! Handle it just like you would your usual cast resins.

The surface finish is smooth to the touch and should only need very light sanding to be paint-ready! There are support pockmarks on the underside of the skull and along the lower edge of the jaw, which will also need some sanding. The primer will smooth the rest!
